I worked on an ortho floor nearly 30 years ago, and they did it then. Why not now? They can probably do a much better job of it now. <br /><br />That would cost a lot less than a whole new one. And you do have friends...<br /><br />In the meantime, I'm wondering if a thin strip of memory foam might help snug things and cushion the stump. <br /><br />Anyone have a memory foam pad they could bear to part with? I don't have one.
