Well, there was hope of a series (hence Rebelfire 1.0) but sales didn't happen so much and so the series didn't happen at all and so we're poorer than we might have been. But I was reminded of it this morning when I came upon a video made by an on-line acquaintance, to the tune of the song that accompanies the book. It's pretty good, too.

Yeah, it's a damned shame too. JPFO went to the trouble of financing the writing and publication, and then did nothing substantial about marketing. I sometimes think of R1.0 as the best freedomista youth book nobody ever heard of.
correction: all the reviews were by members of TCF, the predecessor of TMM.
JPFO has its strengths, but marketing is not one of them. It's too bad; it was a good story, and remains very timely.
