You gotta be kidding.

Call that an arsenal? I see some hunting shotguns, a very tame Marlin, and what appears to be an antique side-by-side. My dogs have more - and scarier - guns than this.

The article doesn't say what these dangerous terrorists did to deserve getting raided, but the only charge is "Illegal Possession of Firearms." Maybe the Brooklyn cops are just jealous because their brothers in blue got to bust real live (Whoo! Scary!) militia types.

H/T to David Codrea.

Yeah, that's one pathetic collection of guns there. Even the New Yorky newspaper seems embarrassed to be reporting on them.

You've also got to love the part of the article where it says that two of the four arrested people weren't believed to have anything to do with the firearms but "were charged because they lived there."

That smacks of the old tyrannical practice of using the family to pressure the supposed perp.

And how about those undefined "pills" that were also grabbed. Pills? What kind of pills? What's the evidence they were illegal?

There's more, of course.

What I want to know is, with a stainless Mini-14 folder right there just out of frame to the left, why is the photographer centering on the bubba-ized Mauser and the underhammer front-stuffer? Once one evolves a rumen and one's canines fall out, do all guns become equally scary?
