The Ultimate Answer to Kings: I don't listen to Obama speeches...

They say that Louis XIV had the inscription Ultima Ratio Regum cast into all the cannon of the French Army. It means "The Ultimate Argument of Kings," and that always struck me as one of the most honest and up-front things any ruler or would-be ruler ever said. "We can dress it up prettier than this, but when it comes down to the unvarnished truth this is what it's about: You'll do as I say or I'll send my goons to kill you."

I thought about that for a long time. If there's an ultimate argument, it seems only logical that there must be an ultimate answer. For years I thought the ultimate answer must be the bullets in my rifle, but it never seemed quite right. I've got bullets - he's got frigging Cannon Balls. I mean, if there were three hundred million rifles throwing bullets at him, then maybe. But we all know that's not going to happen. So if there's an ultimate answer to his ultimate argument, it sure as hell ain't bullets.

It finally came to me - and that's when I left the city, abandoned a goodly percentage of my goods, and gave all that was behind me a good, stiff Randian Shrug.

The ultimate answer to kings is not a bullet, but a belly laugh.

I don't listen to Obama speeches...

...but I keep hearing about how lately he's been hating on people who have "corporate jets."

Is he suffering some tragic brain tumor or something?

AND that doesn't take into account the THREE helicopters that he uses [all at the same time no less*] when he is "at Home" in DC.
If he needs to be in a different building in DC does he walk or even ride in an automobile?
heck No he is "The ONE" so he flies to most places that he needs to be seen. Using the aforementioned Three Marine Helos which burn Pearl Kerosene. [JP5]

*Why Three you may ask ...?
Have you ever heard of "three card monte" or of the three walnut shells and one pea game of chance?[Ye Olde Shell Game]
His handlers feel that if three helos do all of the moving the bad guys (?) won't have a chance of figuring out which helo he is actually in.
So .... "The ONE" needs to be two miles away in 30 minutes? No Problem. We'll just burn 40 or 50 gallons of the Highest Priced diesel fuel available to get him there.

I believe it is called "statism" and in this case it may be terminal.
