The building has left Elvis!
And for the first time in - well, basically, ever - Landlady's property is trailer-free.

Woohoo!
Do I want to know how you convinced someone to take possession of the Interim Lair voluntarily?
The end of an era ...
Are you planning any kind of IL memorial service?
Happiest. Day. EVER.
Indeed... I want to know how you did it. I have a junk trailer on my land and have given it away three times. It's still here, only in not so good shape after a serious windstorm knocked it over.
Oh me....
The last guy actually only wanted the trailer frame. He decided it was too much work to take all the junk off the frame... I called him after the storm to let him know the frame is now ON TOP. Only bad news was that he'd still have to haul off all the junk to claim the frame. He's still thinking about it.
Simple, really.
Guy calls me, asking how much I want for the trailer. He just bought a parcel here and needs a place to weekend. I needed someplace to move the trailer to, since every possibility I thought of really wasn't much of a possibility - the best idea I could come up with was a midnight delivery at the junkyard. Mentioned this to Landlady and she said, "Don't use my Jeep when you do that."
The trailer's still good enough for weekending. If, you know, you fix everything and clean it up. And then, y'know, maybe burn it down.
I scratched his back, he scratched mine. Way it oughta work. Poor sucker.
Glad it worked out so well for you. :) Nobody is going to "weekend" in my pile of junk except a few mice and assorted other critters while it's cold. I expect to have it burned come spring if the guy never comes for the frame.
Oh well. :)
