Oh, there were some survivors. You know, people. Other than the famous guy who's not a surviver. Some of the people died, too. But oh, that beautiful seaplane! *choke*

Joel, The departed aircraft was a turbine model, converted from the original radial engine configuration. More like the pictured at the top right of this page.

It always makes me sad when a fine old plane meets an unfortunate end.
Loss of the aircraft was a tragedy, but we know one thing.
That thug Stevens won't be pissing that pilot off again.

At first I thought the tail numbers were photoshopped but they appear to be the real thing. The DHC-3-Otter is a heckuva good plane. Sorry to see one crash.
