Sometimes the Intertubz really creep me out.

Landlady sent me a cartoon that would have been funny, if I'd known what it was talking about...


I hung onto it, swearing I'd try to learn what the hell "fourwhere" is. Now I know, and I wish I didn't.

I'm guessing that if you go to fourwhere, it's supposed to open up to your location? I opened it and the map came up in the next county over, about 45 miles from me. I couldn't resist trying to hone in on our house in the forest. The county road was correct, but all of the forest service roads were numbered wrong or missing entirely. So it looks like I'm still safe saying "First they have to find me".

I think they were using FourWhere as a parody of FourSquare. FourSquare lets you "check in" using the GPS feature of your phone to tell everybody exactly where you are, when you're there, real time.

Don't you feel better now?
