Whoa! Here's something I don't see every day!


Big cats are rare, but they happen. I don't even see tracks very often, and I've only seen a lion once. Bobcats, yes. But I don't think this is a bobcat.

If I'm reading it correctly, it's a left foot. Kinda hard to tell if it's a cougar or not, though but damn if it don't look like one. Heel pad seems too small, but it may have been disturbed by wind, etc. and the angle may be misleading me.

Now that I've looked at it more, it looks like a coyote track, but that'd be a big damn coyote...

I'll just sit over here in the corner and be quiet. I obviously have no idea what it is. lol

No, I don't think it's a coyote. It could be an unusually big bobcat, but their tracks are usually just a little bigger than domestic cats. Coyote tracks are usually a little narrower than dogs and have distinct claw marks. Cats have those round pads and no claw marks.
