CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Wyoming on Wednesday became the fourth state to allow citizens to carry concealed guns without a permit, with Gov. Matt Mead signing a bill into law as several other states considered similar action.Cool! That was quick.
The law allows state citizens legally entitled to own guns to carry them concealed starting in July. The guns still wouldn't be allowed in schools, bars and government buildings.

Colorado has passed a similar bill through the house. It remains to be seen if it can pass the senate and IF the governor will sign it. Unfortunately Hickenlooper is not a pro-gun governor...
We're pretty happy with it. Got some work to clean it up a bit... all of the old "prohibited" places are still in effect.
We'd sure love to have Helmke come visit. He can run his snoot in the streets and see if he can find any blood. We won't mind.
The joke on him is that there probably won't be a whole lot more people carrying now. The few more sensitive souls will just not feel they need to continue to pay the "coat tax," that's all. Those who want to carry do, and probably will no matter what Cheyenne thinks of it.
Off topic..again...but kinda important
