Looks like Click is building her tribe, one monster at a time.
Only one problem with that, of course. The cat will outlive the dog by a considerable margin. She'll need to start raising another pup in a few years. :(
She's six or seven years old, still prime but already slowing down and putting on weight. I expect LB to last another eight or ten years, barring the always possible tragedy. She may outlive him but it won't be by a lot. By the time he dies of old age she'll be ancient in days and unlikely to spend a lot of time outdoors.
Of course, LB is a mutt and somewhat less likely to suffer the ills other big dogs of purer breed are subject to, which so dramatically shortens their lives. LB is also an impulsive idiot, and on any given day could find a way to get himself killed. So who knows? The future will take care of itself.
