The overall video quality is the best of any phone I’ve ever seen.
You kids today. Why, when I was a boy, telephones were big, blocky things that required their own tables. They were installed by highly-trained professionals, and the handsets alone made dandy blunt objects. And they had this little wheelie thing in the middle that made cool Schoooook - wickawickawicka noises, and you got in trouble for playing with them because you might accidentally call China and start a war.
Now I've got this extremely nifty Captain Kirk communicator thingy - except that he couldn't do nearly as much with his - that I never go far without, for fear the tractor will roll on me or something and I'll really, really need to call for help. And the most extraordinary thing about it is...
...it's generally considered an obsolete piece of crap.
Does that seem right to you?

Yep... and I hope my obsolete piece of crap continues to work for a long, long time.
Absolutely do not want any "smart phones." This totally dumb one has me buffaloed half the time already. :) Took me a week to figure out how to ANSWER it. sigh
That's the same obsolete piece of crap I have! it holds an amazing amount of photos, and the resolution is surprisingly good-and it cost $15 new. It does what I want it to do(send the ocassional text/image, and once or twice a week brief call),and all I have to to is buy a $20 minutes card every three months, and charge the thing once or twice a week.
Yeah, the camera worked great until I made the mistake, common with me, of carrying it around in my pocket. Dirt and sawdust pretty much fill my pockets before the end of the day, and the plastic in front of the lens is all scratched up. I wonder if I could polish it back to clear, then cover it with transparent tape or something.
I really like this phone, and wish I hadn't mucked up the lens.
