...and we're all supposed to post pix of ourselves open carrying, or something. I don't normally pay attention to holidays, especially when they're artificially declared to "raise awareness" of stuff...
But still. For the cause, here's Joel's waist in full bat-belt mode. Believe it or not this is actually how the belt looks most days*, though for the pic I probably should have put on an unstained shirt...

*flashlight optional, since I keep getting caught without it.

Looks good! Lucky I'm ambidextrous, so I can balance my stuff on both sides.
Normal carry is the gun and keys on one side, with the speed loader pouch and cell phone on the other.
In camp or in the woods, I replace the phone with a knife and a flashlight. A small first aid kit behind the gun rounds out the other side.
Looks like a revolver, Joel. But where are your speed loaders? Or spare mags if it's an autoloader? I don't believe you go out with no spare ammo.
I have a confession to make.
You know how, when you move, you always unaccountably lose at least one important thing?
Well, I haven't seen my magazine pouch since moving to the Secret Lair. Can't find it anywhere. Two excellent Wilson Combat magazines, gone. Also the pouch.
I've got one other mag, but it mostly stays in the Jeep. My pockets are too full and too dirty.
Joel,
"Well, I haven't seen my magazine pouch since moving to the Secret Lair. Can't find it anywhere. Two excellent Wilson Combat magazines, gone. Also the pouch."
Shoot me a P.O. box.
Oh darn... I hate when that happens. I can REALLY sympathize, Joel. I've made 40 lifetime moves...
Lost a LOT of stuff. sigh
I have a nylon double mag pouch I don't use anymore. It fits the full size XD magazines. Let me know if you want it. :)
