I can go with that...

Now that the activists have pretty much killed concealed carry bans (even in the current PC "law-abiding citizen" version requiring CCW licenses) and are doing so well that "constitutional carry" is not only not an absurd idea but actually a reality in a growing number of states, let's start agitating for a stake driven through the heart of NFA34!

I wanna shoot guns like Oleg Volk's when I grow up!

H/T to Linoge.

We're chipping at it.

Moving suppressors to Title I is the logical next step (It's safety! For the children!), and already drawing attention from even the hidebound NRA.

It took the Bad Guys sixty years, from NFA '34 to AWB '94, to build Rome; we ain't gonna burn it in a day.

I should sue the Federales for my hearing loss. If I'd been allowed suppressors all these years I wouldn't have hearing damage such as I do now.

Yeah, the problem with full-auto is that I'm supplying the ammo, and I can't afford enough ammo to practice as it is. So while I fully support decriminalization, that's not a market I'm likely to enter soon.

But I've had a high-pitched ringing in both ears since I was young, largely courtesy of [my own youthful stupidity and] the fedgov's insistence that all guns must be really loud. Thanks, Uncle Sugar! And, er, youthful stupidity...
